Programmed Energy & Resources are seeking a skilled and motivated dewatering trades assistant to join the team of one of our major clients in mining!

About the Role

The Dewatering Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of dewatering systems within an open-pit mining environment. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that groundwater and surface water are effectively removed from the mining pit, keeping the mine dry and safe for operations. The Dewatering Technician works closely with the mine operations and maintenance teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of dewatering systems, contributing to the safety, productivity, and overall success of the mining operation.

Role Requirements

  • Full Australian Drivers license - C Manual (minimum) HR desired
  • High risk work license - RB and DB
  • Trades assistant experience required
  • Polywelding, Franna and Telehandler experience (desirable)
  • MUST be clean shaven
  • Ability to perform manual, physical work in outdoor and remote conditions
  • Full Australian working rights – no restrictions
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
